A session usually lasts from one hour to one hour and fifteen minutes. At the beginning, a brief intake is taken. For the session, you may lie on a massage table or if you prefer, you may sit in a chair or recliner. Healing Touch is done by either touching the person lightly or moving the hands in the energy field that surrounds the body. It is not necessary to undress for the treatment.
Healing Touch is a nurturing, relaxing experience. Each person’s experience is unique. Most people report a sense of deep relaxation. When a person is under stress, that decreases the functioning of the immune system. Assisting the person to relax can enhance immune function.
Healing Touch is used to reduce pain, promote relaxation, and enhance the person’s innate ability to heal.
The fee for a Healing Touch session in my office is $70. Payment may be made in cash, by check or through PayPal.
Hospital and home visits are available. Fees for off-site visits are dependent on location.
